First, when I had this issue. I was thinking the wifi security I was trying to connect to, had blocked my adaptor. But I also had am external adaptor (Tp-link t2u).

But I was a little confused. Because both my laptop wifi and the adaptor was on able to connect. All both display was “No internet access”.

But my phone was connected to the same Wi-Fi network. That was proof that the Wi-Fi had no problems. Here, I want to give a workaround or how to resolve this issue or problem.

Step 1.

Go to device manager by typing device manager in the windows search box. click network card adapters. The list of your network card adapters will show up.

Step 2.

Select your laptop wifi drivers. right-click and disenable the adapter. Now restart the pc/laptop. The drivers should automatically enable no restarting. If not, go to device manager to enable them. Now see if everything is working fine.

Step 3.

If this is still an issue. Go to the “device manager”. Then network card adapters. select the adapter driver and then right.

Select the Update driver. Click the ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ and then select ‘Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer’.

Now it scans for available and compatible drivers.

Step 1.

Go to device manager by typing device manager in the windows search box. click network card adapters. The list of your network card adapters will show up.

Select the drivers of your external wifi adaptor. Now, right-click and select the “Uninstall drivers”.

Step 3.

Reboot your pc/laptop. Now reinstall the external wifi drivers by plugging it into your pc/laptop and it automatically installs them. Or for the Cd the come with the wifi adaptor.

Your wifi should be working fine.

Finally Recommendation

If none of the solutions was unable to resolve the problems.

This means that your pc/laptop network card is bad or corrupted. I recommend you back up your data and format or reinstall windows.

And everything will work as fine as before.
